Eclogite (pronounced eck-low-jight) was named after the metamorphic rock of the same name.  Eclogite undergoes such a change that some geologists will actually tell you it has become a completely new rock resembling nothing of its former self.  Hence the analogy with Eclogite skin care is that it will transform your skin.

 

Eclogite skin care are an Australian owned and made company.  None of our products are tested on animals.  In fact all Eclogite products are tested on humans to ensure safety and irritancy are of an acceptable standard.  We select test subjects that have very sensitive skin.  If in the unlikely event you do have a problem simply return the product for a refund.

 

Eclogite skin care was started in 2005 by Jacine Greenwood out of frustration of the poor quality products on the market.  Jacine has been a Beauty Therapist since 1995 and a Registered Nurse since 1998.  The majority of cosmetics and skin care contain oils, esters, waxes or miscellaneous ingredients that are comedogenic or cause congestion in a combination to oily skin.  Some of these ingredients can even  cause problems for a dry skin.

 

Eclogite skin care was formulated without any of these ingredients to ensure your skin improves without further aggravation.  Eclogite skin care does not contain any essential oils, preservatives or ingredients known to cause the problem of pigmentation or irritation.  There are many essential oils that whilst their therapeutic properties are commendable, long term they will cause pigmentation on your skin.  Examples of this are lavender, orange essential oil, lemon essential oil, Neroli essential oil, and teatree essential oil.  You then need to buy another product to then treat the pigmentation. 

 

All Eclogite facial products contain no fragrance.  Body products can come fragranced or unfragranced.  Fragrance can be a major allergy trigger in most people.

 

Eclogite Skin Care are an environmentally conscious company and choose to not use unnecessary packaging with our products.  We do not have boxes to put our cosmetics in.  They are a misuse of our environment and everyone simply throws them in the bin after they purchase a product anyway.

 

Packaging that is used to cushion your goods in transit is recycled from the packaging we receive when we purchase ingredients.
