As a mother of six boys this bottle is the most cost effective glass bottle on the market.
Happy Baby glass bottles have been used in
maternity hospitals for decades, just ask anyone in your family and
they all remember the days of glass bottles when they had their baby.
As it is glass it can be washed in the dishwasher.
Avoid nasty chemicals such as Bisphenol A (BPA)
that leach out of plastic bottles in to your baby's milk and make the
switch to glass bottles. Not only are they safer, but they will last
longer, therefore saving you money! If you are worried about them
breaking you can purchase a bottle warmer which is made from wetsuit
material (the same material used to make beer chillers), just ask us
check-out and we can supply you with the details.
Clear Glass Baby Feeding Bottle with Medium Flow
Latex Teat comes in a 240ml size and is made with hospital grade glass
with a vented teat and microwave safe. Glass is a safe and clean
carrier for breast milk or formula. The teat is specifically designed
to supply a steady flow of milk micro air valves in the flange allow
tiny air bubbles to pass through the teat entering the bottle as the
baby feeds.
Flow control air valve design lets you control the flow rate by simply tightening or loosening the collar.
When feeding bubbles will rise through the
milk/formula slowing the teat breathing action. If no bubbles rise up
to the top of the bottle whilst you are feeding the collar may be to
tight.
Glass is recyclable and doesn't contain nasty toxic
chemicals such as BPA* that can leach into liquids contained within
plastic bottles. Glass bottles are clearly the safest bottle choice on
the market. The embossed measurements are distinct and accurate and
they won’t rub off over time, this does happen eventually with ALL
plastic bottles (trust me I have 6 kids and I have never had a plastic
bottle which has ever kept its printed measurements on, unless you only
ever handwash it).
Happy Baby Glass Baby bottles are used in major
maternity and childrens hospitals and is the only manufacturer of
infant glass bottles in Australia
Awareness of baby feeding products with BPA among
Australian parents has heightened sharply after recent reports by A
Current Affair and the ABC. Around the world, BPA has attracted growing
attention as more and more research confirms that the chemical in
products (such as baby bottles) can leach out and be subsequently
consumed.
Many studies (we have them all on record if you
would like a copy please us know), they reveal that baby bottles with
BPA release the chemical during heating of milk/formula,
high-temperatures such as dishwashing and microwave/steam sterilising.
Glass Bottles are the only safe option. Bisphenol-A (BPA) can have on
humans as it is an estrogen-mimicking cemical. This compound could
potentially be posing some risk to the brain development of babies and
children. BPA may cause things like early puberty in girls and breast
tissue development in boys. It is the main chemical used to make the
common clear polycarbonate baby bottles. This chemical can leach from
the plastic into the milk, and this is more an issue when the bottle
has been heated or is scratched or no longer clear in appearance.
