Clove Bud is known for its pain relieving properties. The Chinese chewed Clove to freshen their breath before audiences with the Emperor, whereas the Europeans wore Clove necklaces to escape infection during the great plagues. Of late Clove Bud oil is known as a great mould remover in household cleaning.
The brilliant red flowering buds of the tropical Syzygium aromaticum tree native to Indonesia, are distilled to create this oil.
Oil Properties:
This sweet, hot, rich spice oil with pain relieving properties has scent characteristics of a Base Note having an intense and lasting aroma.
Applications:
For the temporary relief of Toothache only - Direct Application: Using a cotton bud, dab onto painful tooth twice daily. Take care to avoid nearby mouth tissue.
